A Shower After Two Years Without One
An elderly homeowner had been living without a working shower for more than two years after plumbing failed. She had received proposals involving extensive bathroom remodeling that she simply could not afford.
We took another look at the actual problem. After approximately 36 hours of donated labor and less than $1,500 in materials, the shower was working again. A family friend covered the materials and the labor was donated.

Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that a project will be selected or that free services will be provided. Projects are reviewed individually based on need, safety, project suitability and available time, volunteers, qualified professionals, materials, sponsors and other resources.
